Moments of joy and pride as the State House opened its doors to over a hundred students from Ladybird pre-primary and Oakdale primary schools yesterday, for a special educational visit focused on one of our core missions:
Protecting our environment and preserving the beauty of nature.
I congratulate all talented students for using the power of art and expression to raise awareness about environmental protection through their lively plays and dance performances.
I also commend the Directors, Mrs Ramanah and Dr Ramanah, as well as all educators for leveraging creativity as a powerful tool among our children to build conscience, raise voices, nurture values and foster holistic development that extends beyond the classroom.
It is moments like these that stand as a living testament to the deep bonds that unite us as a nation.
I am committed to ensuring proximity with our people so that we can grow a generation that not only dreams, but also protects and preserves as ambassadors and future leaders for a safe and resilient Mauritius.
