Moments of joy and constructive learning today as the State House opened its doors to enthusiastic and cheerful pre-primary learners aged 3 to 5 years old from Orchard Kids School.
I commend and congratulate the management, educators and our talented children for their wonderful song performance about Mauritius and their stage play on healthy eating.
Their voices also echoed across our ballroom with pride as they sang our National Anthem, a practice we highly encourage and promote during school visits to the State House in order to build the love for our nation among our youngest citizens.
As President, I will continue to foster proximity with our children and nurture an environment where they feel valued, inspired, and loved.
