The President of the Republic chaired an informative working session on 20 May 2025 at the State House, dedicated to understanding the functioning, strengths, and scope of the Citizen Support Unit (CSU).
Such a platform has the potential to play a pivotal role in bridging communication between citizens and government services.
Discussions focused on how the CSU’s portal and operations can be optimised to ensure a more efficient, responsive, and transparent public service delivery. Views were also exchanged on how all stakeholders can enhance their collaboration in order to address the needs and concerns of our citizens rapidly and effectively.
During the session, President Gokhool emphasized that a more inclusive and service-oriented public administration should be the way forward.
