The President of the Republic, H.E Mr Dharambeer Gokhool G.C.S.K., had a productive meeting with Hon’ Rajesh Bhagwan and Hon’ Joanna Berenger, Minister and Junior Minister of Environment, Solid Waste Management and Climate Change, yesterday 17 April 2025 at the State House.
Policies and measures featured in the Government Programme 2025-29 and the strategy to advance climate adaptation and resilience; engage public support, and meeting international norms and standards, were discussed.
Key areas such as waste management, circular economy, biodiversity, climate finance and coastal erosion were also elaborated.
