It is with immense joy that the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr Dharambeer Gokhool G.C.S.K, interacted with innovators and brilliant young minds at the 10th edition of the Science Quest 2025 Exhibition and Award Ceremony, organised by the Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre and held at the Côte D’or National Sports Complex on 23 May 2025.
In his address, President Gokhool congratulated all participants and winners for their hardwork, and noted that it was inspiring to see their curiosity, creativity, and their commitment to use their learning to derive solutions to the challenges that Mauritius is confronted with today.
He also commended the Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre under the aegis of the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Science and Research, as well as its partners, for empowering our future leaders to explore the world of science and technology.
President Gokhool stressed the need for multistakeholder collaboration in order to work together to create an ecosystem where today’s young innovators are supported and encouraged so that they can turn their projects, ideas and vision into sustainable, real-world solutions for a better tomorrow.
