2. Mrs Melany Nagen, Deputy Chairperson- Human Rights Division,
3. Mrs Touria Prayag, member- Human Rights Division,
4. Mr Jean Marie Frank Richard, member – Human Rights Division
5. Mrs Najah Abdulla Ahmed, Deputy Chaiperson- National Preventive Mechanism Division,
6. Mr Vijay Ramanjooloo, member- National Preventive Mechanism Division, and
7. Mr Joseph Gabriel Michel Vieillesse, member- National Preventive Mechanism Division,
who have have taken their solemn oath to serve with integrity, impartiality, and dedication, during their swearing-in ceremony at the State House this afternoon.
This Commission plays a vital role in safeguarding the fundamental rights and freedoms of every citizen of Mauritius.
A more just, inclusive, and rights-respecting society must be the way forward.
