It stands today as a <strong data-start=\"931\" data-end=\"974\">living monument of political continuity<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"979\" data-end=\"997\">national pride<\/strong>. One of its most iconic landmarks is <strong data-start=\"1035\" data-end=\"1059\">Le Temple de l\u2019Amour<\/strong>, a memorial built in <strong data-start=\"1081\" data-end=\"1089\">1921<\/strong> by Governor Sir Hesketh Bell in homage to the Ch\u00e2teau\u2019s original founder.<\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"1165\" data-end=\"1472\">The estate is also celebrated for its <strong data-start=\"1203\" data-end=\"1235\">diverse botanical collection<\/strong>, featuring native and exotic plant species, peaceful water features, and panoramic viewpoints such as the famous <strong data-start=\"1349\" data-end=\"1366\">Bout du Monde<\/strong>.
