Patrick Herminie, the Award of the Grand Commander of the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean (G.C.S.K.), on the advice of the Prime Minister, Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam, today at the State House in R\u00e9duit.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">The Award is the highest national accolade of the Mauritian Republic. It was conferred upon President Herminie in a remarkable gesture of long-standing camaraderie and to strengthen the cultural bond and cooperation between the two nations.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">The event was followed by a lunch hosted by President Gokhool in honour of the President and the First Lady of the Republic of Seychelles who are the Chief Guests for this year\u2019s National Day Celebrations.
