More than 90 students from Northlands Primary School meet President Gokhool at the State House
The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr Dharambeer Gokhool G.C.S.K, welcomed and interacted with over 90 students, and staffs, from Northlands Primary school on 29 April 2025 during their educational visit.
Students sang the national anthem with much enthusiasm and talked about their interests and hobbies with President Dharambeer Gokhool.
The President also shared key insights about his Presidential role and duties, and signed the school’s message book.
It was an emotional trip down the memory lane after 24 years particularly for Mr Garish Ramoo, the School Principal, who reminisced his last visit to the Château de Réduit in 2001 and underscored the importance of experiential learning.
President Gokhool affirmed that he will continue to foster proximity with children and youths – the architects of the nation’s future – so that they have transformative learning experiences beyond the classroom.
