Productive meetings at the State House today:
1. His Excellency Mr. Dharambeer Gokhool G.C.S.K welcomed Hon’ Osman Mahomed, Minister of Land Transport, for a fruitful exchange and a comprehensive overview of ongoing and future initiatives to improve the public transportation system.
Discussions focused on road safety, digital solutions for efficient service delivery, and the future elaboration of the 20-Year Masterplan as mentioned in the Government Programme 2025–2029.
2. In his meeting with Hon’ Raj Pentiah, Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reforms, President Gokhool took note of public sector reforms in the pipeline to build a high-performing, people-centric public sector in line with the Government Programme 2025-2029.
The President further took note of upcoming human resource development initiatives, including capacity-building programmes at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Public Service and Innovation.
3. The President of the Republic also welcomed Hon’ Manoj Seeburn, MP for Constituency No. 11 (Vieux Grand Port and Rose Belle), for a courtesy visit.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on ongoing efforts to address the concerns and meet the aspirations and needs of constituents in the region.
