Action for Artistic Creativity – AAC: Live painting workshop and exhibition

What a pleasure for President Dharambeer Gokhool and First Lady Mrs Brinda Gokhool to interact with artists, educators, and students during today’s live painting workshop and exhibition at Château de Mon Plaisir, Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanic Garden, on this World Art Day.
This meaningful event, organised by Action for Artistic Creativity – AAC, forms part of the International Artists’ Camp 2026.
It brought together a vibrant community of local and international artists, alongside students – including children from 12 SEN schools – placing inclusion and creativity at the very heart of the initiative.
Art remains a powerful force for dialogue, connection, and unity – transcending borders, languages, and backgrounds.
A message that resonates deeply in our vibrant rainbow nation.
We commend AAC for this remarkable initiative, as well as all partners and all participating artists – both local and international – for their dedication to promoting artistic expression, cultural exchange, and inclusion.
Together, let us continue to celebrate our diversity, nurture creativity, and build a more inclusive and united society.
As One People, As One Nation.
