A joy to have joined the Modern College community for their Annual Prize Giving Ceremony this morning.
A special moment which reminded me of my tenure as Minister of Education, during which we had reintroduced the Form I–VI structure – a reform that empowered schools like Modern College to nurture their brightest minds without barriers.
My heartfelt congratulations go to all the prize winners, especially Abdallah Dawjee Dawreeawo, the laureate of Modern College- HSC Batch 2024, who aspires to become a healthcare professional, inspired by his mother, a doctor herself.
I also thank Dr. Yogess Sanmukhiya, the Rector/Manager of the college; all educators and parents for being the vital pillars of support for our children and youth.
May we continue to invest in our youth and build an inclusive, safe, and resilient nation where every individual feels valued.
