A memorable evening at the Annual Show 2026 of the School of Performing Arts, Mahatma Gandhi Institute, graced by President Dharambeer Gokhool and First Lady Mrs Brinda Gokhool.
Speaking at the event, President Gokhool underscored the vital role of the School of Performing Arts in preserving, promoting and innovating within Mauritius’ cultural traditions, and in nurturing the next generation of artists.
He also emphasised the importance of the performing arts in fostering national unity, strengthening social cohesion, and serving as a bridge between tradition and modernity in our diverse society.
