We had a truly meaningful time at this 30th edition of the Kermesse – one of the most vibrant gatherings of our public officers and their families, organised by the Ministry of Public Service and Administrative Reforms and the Public Officers’ Welfare Council.
A powerful reminder of the human dimension of public service: the people who work long hours, shoulder heavy responsibilities, and still show up every day with dedication and resilience.
I thank and commend in particular the Public Officers’ Welfare Council for its invaluable work over the years in supporting the welfare of our public officers and their families.
Through recreational, cultural, and health-focused activities, it has fostered wellbeing, camaraderie, and team spirit, creating a strong support system that allows our public officers to thrive both professionally and personally.
I also commend and thank all public officers whose commitment strengthens our institutions and inspires our journey toward a more responsive, innovative, and citizen-focused nation.
Let us continue moving forward in this same spirit- As One People, As One Nation.
