An absolute pleasure to welcome Bollywood actress, life transformation coach, author and TEDx speaker Tannaz Irani to State House today!
Most of us know her from films such as Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai, and her work on Indian Television.
But beyond her 32-year journey in the entertainment industry, Ms Irani has taken her own experiences of overcoming a serious health challenge into a new space – focusing on personal development, emotional wellbeing, conscious parenting and women’s empowerment.
President Gokhool shared with her the story of Château du Réduit, his role and responsibilities as Head of State, and the Presidency’s work in promoting holistic wellbeing.
The conversation also led to some candid reflections on parenting in the digital age- the generation gap, the challenges families are facing today, and how this new digital landscape is something both parents and children are learning to navigate.
A lovely exchange on the many similarities between Indian and Mauritian society, with experiences shared around family, parenting, women’s networks and raising children in a rapidly changing world.
Ms Tannaz Irani is in Mauritius for Sacred Mirrors II, a transformational wellness workshop scheduled for November, organised by FloW Mauritius and led by Ashmita Muthoora, Founder and Lead Instructor.
