








The Honourable Azarel Ernesta, Speaker of the National Assembly of Seychelles, paid a courtesy call on President Dharambeer Gokhool this week.
Honourable Mrs Ernesta is the first woman to serve as Speaker of the National Assembly of Seychelles.
She was accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising notably the Honourable Denise Clarisse, MP; the Honourable Wilbert Herminie, MP, as well as officials of the National Assembly of Seychelles.
Their visit to Mauritius aims to strengthen parliamentary ties and foster the sharing of experiences on legislative and parliamentary practices, while further deepening the longstanding bonds of friendship and cooperation between Mauritius and Seychelles.
