Yesterday, the State House welcomed members of the Barlow Senior Citizens Association for a ground visit.
President Dharambeer Gokhool also received a delegation of the Senior Citizens Council of Delhi, led by Mr. J.R. Gupta, President of the Council, and accompanied, among others, by Mr. Vijay Naraidoo, President of the Senior Citizens Council of Mauritius.
Both encounters were marked by authentic and heartfelt exchanges on the joys and challenges of ageing, the richness of cultural bonds, and the universal call for dignity, accessibility, and inclusion for older persons.
