Hindi Diwas 2025: Hindi Speaking Union at MGI Auditorium

Languages are the soul of our nation and add to our beauty when shared.
An immense joy to have joined educators, writers, artists, and students in honouring the enduring beauty and strength of Hindi, on the occasion of Hindi Diwas 2025, which was organised by the Hindi Speaking Union at MGI Auditorium on Saturday afternoon.
A beautiful celebration held in the presence of Hon. Minister Ritish Ramful, Hon. Junior Minister Rajen Narsinghen, and H.E. Mr. Anurag Srivastava, High Commissioner of India, among others.
I congratulate our outstanding performers of the S.C. and H.S.C. batch 2024, and all participants of the Hindi Story Writing Competition.
I thank and commend the Hindi Speaking Union, under the leadership of its new President Dr. Anjalee Chintamunnee and its Executive Committee of experienced Hindi lovers, for their continued commitment to promoting linguistic and cultural excellence.
Our rainbow nation thrives through its diversity and multicultural coexistence.
But it must be strengthened by moving towards true interculturalism: sharing our languages and cultures, learning from one another, and growing together.
We must also leverage Artificial Intelligence and digital innovation to ensure a resilient and dynamic future for Hindi and all our national languages.
Let us preserve our heritage while empowering new generations to carry it forward with pride – as One People, as One Nation, and as One Humanity.
