Lokmat One World Summit & Awards 2026 – Mauritius Edition yesterday, an occasion that brought together distinguished voices from Mauritius and India where His Excellency Mr Dharambeer Gokhool, G.C.S.K., President of the Republic of Mauritius, participated in the Lokmat One World Summit & Awards 2026, held at Le Méridien Ile Maurice, Mauritius.
In his address, His Excellency highlighted the deep and enduring ties between Mauritius and India, founded on shared history, culture, values and strong people-to-people relations. He also encouraged business leaders and investors to explore the numerous opportunities offered by Mauritius and to leverage the country’s strategic position, political stability and business-friendly environment.
The event was also graced by the presence of the Honourable Arvin Boolell, Hon. Rajen Narsinghen , Hon. @Arvin Babajee and renowned Indian actress Chitrangda Singh.
His Excellency congratulated the Chairman of Lokmat Media Group, @Dr Vijay Darda, for this significant initiative, which brings together leaders and distinguished personalities to promote dialogue, cooperation and shared progress.
