President Dharambeer Gokhool welcomed Mr Raouf Bundhun OSK, former Vice-President of the Republic, to the State House on 19 May 2025.
The dignitaries exchanged views on values-based education, which is essential for consolidating national unity. The importance of family values, such as respect for our elders, honesty, discipline and hard work, in shaping future generations, was also highlighted.
President Gokhool expressed gratitude former to former Vice-President Raouf Bundhun for gifting him a copy of his biography, which narrates the journey of his service to the nation.
