Public Service Excellence Award 2023 & 2025

President Gokhool graced the #PublicServiceExcellence Award Ceremony for the 2023 and 2025 editions last evening, organised by the Ministry of Public Service and Administrative Reforms under the theme: “Delivering Results and Building Trust through an Innovative, Sustainable and People-Centric Public Service.”
The ceremony provided an important opportunity to recognise the dedication, professionalism and innovation demonstrated by public institutions and public officers across our Republic.
A strong and trusted public service remains one of the fundamental pillars of national development. Beyond policies and procedures, it is the quality of service delivered to citizens that ultimately strengthens public confidence in institutions and reinforces the social contract between the State and the people.
In an era marked by rapid technological transformation, evolving citizen expectations and increasingly complex global challenges, public institutions must continue to adapt, modernise and innovate responsibly.
President Gokhool also shared that during his recent participation at the UN World Urban Forum in the Republic of Azerbaijan, he had the opportunity to visit the ASAN XIDMAT (“Easy Services”) Centre – an innovative integrated public service platform which has significantly transformed service delivery through digitalisation and collaboration between government agencies and private stakeholders.
He welcomed Azerbaijan’s willingness to share its experience with Mauritius and expressed his hope for future technical cooperation aimed at enhancing public service delivery in our country.
Heartfelt congratulations to all award recipients, and sincere gratitude to all public officers whose daily efforts contribute – often quietly and away from public attention – to the functioning, stability and progress of our nation.
